Google: Crawl Frequency & Ranking Higher Are Not Directly Related

Google's John Mueller said in a Google+ hangout this morning that there isn't a direct relationship between a web page getting crawled more frequently and it ranking higher in the search results. He said this at the 1:34 mark......
